Obyline’s project for NFT Lugano Fest 2024: Cyborg Woman

The artwork “Droida’s Labyrinth” approaches the dissolved boundaries between human and machine, envisioning an organic identity by merging organic and technological elements to explore the future of gender and empowerment through what so known as a feminine figure.

The union of flesh and metal within the figure resembles tradition and innovation accompanied by a headpiece emerging from her eye and spirals outward, representing the flow of information and energy in a connected world. These luminous orbs form a halo of insight, a labyrinth to challenge the viewer to reconsider what it means to be human in an era of technological transformation and data.

“Droida’s labyrinth” the Cyborg metaphor, redirects femininity through the lens of digital evolution, retaining soft and transparent motion integrated and co-existing into the rational structure that technology offers. An interplay between humanity and technology, and new possibilities to imagine as “identity” in the 21st century.
