Liminal duality

Stillness Among Motion – A Digital Wearable Meditation on Space and Time
Digital rendering of LIMINAL DUALITY headpiece in suspended motion, showcasing fluid sculptural forms blending futurism and stillness

LIMINAL DUALITY is an exploration of paradox and transition, a wearable artwork born at the intersection of opposites. It embodies a state where boundaries dissolve, where stillness exists within motion, and where time appears suspended within space.

This speculative design captures the tension and harmony of dual states: past and future, motion and stillness, material and immaterial. Inspired by liminality in philosophy, art, and psychology, it reflects on the beauty of the in-between — a moment of transformation where identities shift and new forms emerge.

Originally showcased at Con/Temporary Spaces Torino, curated by Dragonemelone design studio for Artàporter, LIMINAL DUALITY was experienced as both digital art and a spatial reflection on time, motion, and presence.
