Our Creative Journey with Octant
Over the last three months, we’ve learned how decentralized ecosystems like Octant are reshaping the way communities support innovation, sustainability, and public goods. We began by a survey, breaking down the potential of creative industries in Web3, and continued into how users interact with Octant‘s reward and funding mechanisms.
Now, we’re closing the loop by sharing something we’re incredibly proud of: a three-part animated video series we created to bring Octant’s mission and mechanics to life.

THE VISION BEHIND THE SERIES
Working closely with the Octant team, we set out to answer a simple question: How do you explain a powerful, complex DeFi platform to everyday creators and builders, specially in Fashion industry? The answer came through storytelling, fashion relatable visuals, and friendly animation that bridges the technical with the human.
Each video tackles a specific part of the Octant journey, from earning and staking, to contributing and voting, and together they paint a clear picture of how every user can participate in shaping public goods for the better.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED
This collaboration wasn’t just about animation. It was about understanding how ecosystem like Octant make Web3 accessible and empowering, not just for developers or DeFi natives, but for educators, artists, designers, and communities that want to create positive, lasting change.
We also got tounderstand Octant’s commitment to transparency and participation, from their smart contract design to the Gitcoin Passport system and voting mechanisms that reward commitment, not just capital.
